S4 the bahn

Despite just getting home at 11PM after leaving at 7 this AM, today had a special highlight. I drove to Dortmund to meet with the BvB, then to Cologne for another meeting, then back.

Driving in Holland sucked. There was a lot of traffic and it took a really long time. Holland is also home, so it loses some of its edge for driving, despite only driving about once a month here.

The great part was is Germany. The autobahn is just so much fun. I mean how often do you get to drive an Audi S4 (which is our MD's/company car) over 200 KPH totally legally and pretty safely as well. Good times. That's a fun car. Tight suspension, great pickup at any speed, and just all around quick.

Unfortunately, it's hard to slow down once you're back in the NL.

There is always traffic in Holland, no matter where I go. I wonder how it ranks globally? Probably not that high. Driving between Amsterdam and Utrecht, don't even get me started. I'm going to eat some pork now from the greek place. Ciao.
